What is the CITN?
The Construction Industry Training Network is a collaboration between contractors, associations, unions and training providers who are responsible for training the majority of the workforce in British Columbia; you can find out more about our association partners here. We address the need to train, recruit and retain skilled workers in order to build B.C. by offering training, providing assistance with navigating government programs, and matching qualified employees with local employers.

Where can I take a course through the CITN?

What is My CITN?
My CITN is a personalized database that allows employees to track their training, credentials and experience in a single place, which makes it easier to move between employers and projects, and notifies workers when their certifications are set to expire. It also allows employees to post their resume when they’re looking for work so we can connect them with employers looking for skilled workers. This assists them in remaining continuously employed throughout their career. For employers, My CITN allows them to track employee development to ensure their workers are always up to date with their training.

How else can you help me?
We offer companies guidance on accessing government programs such as the Temporary Foreign Workers Program, Express Entry, and the Canada/B.C. Jobs Grant, and provide employers with information on industry events and news that directly affects their business. We also can help employees find information on grants they can use throughout their career.
