DESCRIPTION:This is an interactive half-day seminar that will cover the fundamentals of interpreting construction drawings. The seminar will deal with the basics of interpreting information from plans\, elevations\, sections\, details\, and notes contained in typical drawings.\n\n\nCourse Topics \n• List the components of a typical construction drawing set \n• Identify typical drawing types\, symbols\, notes and scales \n• Recognize the common types of drawing sets and explain their differences \n• Extrapolate specific information from a drawing set and cross-reference it to the construction specification \nWho should attend? Anyone who is new to using Construction Drawings. This course is for Owners\, Contractors\, Sub-Contractors and Suppliers. \nDuration – 1/2 Day – 4 Hours \nInstructor: Phil Perry of Perry Educational Services Ltd has 30 plus years in the Construction Industry\, most of which was Project Managing Industrial Projects for General Contractors. Participants will also learn the other legal means to resolve construction disputes and avoid litigation. More often than not\, we will also have more meaningful and significant conversations.
