RoadReadyBC – Skid Steer Loader Operation

One of the most versatile pieces of mobile equipment on any work site is the skid steer loader. A skid steer loader is much smaller and more agile than other machines used in road building and heavy construction, so understanding its unique safety concerns is critical for operators.  

This course will cover safe techniques for operating a skid steer, the role and responsibilities of a competent operator, and will identify the hazards of working with and around skid steer loaders and best practices to minimize risk on the work site.
