Supervisors Bootcamp – Practical Leadership Tools for Front Line Supervisors – Burnaby
February 12, 2019 @ 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
The Supervisors Bootcamp is designed specifically for front-line supervisors and managers in all industries. It is open to individuals with all levels of experience, but is most effective for those working for companies with an already established safety management system.
Participants will be given a leadership ‘tool kit’ comprised of the simplest but most effective leadership concepts, from which they can effectively build and develop their own leadership style. They will also take self-assessment questionnaires and participate in exercises based on the actual work they do and the crews they lead.
The ideas covered in this course will assist employers to tackle important and emerging issues facing business operations today:
· Greater productivity and quality outcomes
· Greater safety program effectiveness
· Greater worker retention and engagement
Participants will leave the session with leadership baselines established, reference materials and course content, and practical and personalised leadership goals for them to work towards.
Participants will also be introduced to ‘safety-II’ or ‘safety differently’, and the workshop includes strategies for putting these concepts into practical use.
What previous participants said:
